    In 2010, McMahon also became the CEO of You On Demand, China’s first video-on-demand and pay-per-view service. However, he resigned as CEO in July 2013 but remained Executive Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors until August 2, 2021. He was later promoted to Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors as the company changed its name several times, including Wecast Holdings Inc., Seven Stars Cloud Group, Inc., and finally Ideanomics. Ideanomics is headquartered in New York City.
